- REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY NOON ON JANUARY 29
- NO SUBSTITUTIONS OR LATE/ONSITE ENTRIES ARE ALLOWED
- COACHES/PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CHECK THE ADVANCE ENTRY LIST AFTER REGISTERING TO VERIFY THEIR PLAYERS’ REGISTRATIONS
- ANY ERROR ON A REGISTRATION MUST BE REPORTED BY 1 PM ON THE LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION VIA EMAIL TO DAHEISER@CPS.EDU. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE TO YOUR EMAIL BY 1 PM THE FOLLOWING DAY, YOU SHOULD FOLLOW UP WITH A PHONE CALL TO DAVID HEISER
ACADEMIC CHESS / COPS & KIDS SCHOOLS
- COACHES NEED TO COMPLETE THE USCF MEMBERSHIP FORM FOR PLAYERS REGISTERED WITH NO OR EXPIRED USCF MEMBERSHIP
- PLAYERS WITHOUT A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP OR SUBMITTING THE REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL NOT BE PAIRED FOR ROUND 1 OR FOR FOLLOWING ROUNDS UNTIL THE US CHESS FORM IS COMPLETED
- FORM CLOSES AT 4 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT
- REGISTRATION BY SCHOOL COACHES ONLY
- THERE IS NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS A SCHOOL MAY REGISTER

- US CHESS MEMBERSHIP IS NEEDED TO REGISTER FOR THE TOURNAMENT AND CAN BE PURCHASED AT USCHESS.ORG

CHAPERONES
ACADEMIC CHESS/COPS & KIDS SCHOOLS CAN HAVE 1 OFFICIAL CHAPERONE PER 6 STUDENTS THAT ARE PLAYING IN THE TOURNAMENT. CHAPERONES MUST BE A CPS EMPLOYEE, LEVEL I OR II VOLUNTEER, OR A VENDOR.
LUNCH
THIS YEAR, WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF VOUCHERS AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOLS. THE ALLOCATION FOR EACH SCHOOL WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES, BASED ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SCHOOLS AND PLAYERS REGISTERED.
