About the Camp
The CPS Chess Queens Summer Knights Chess Camp is open to female CPS students entering 5th–12th grade in the fall. The camp is run in association with Queens United and led by Queens United Ambassadors.
Camp Details
📍 Location: Whitney Young High School
📅 Dates: Monday – Friday, July 7 – 11, 2025
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily
👥 Limited to: 20 participants
What to Expect
Participants will engage in a variety of enriching experiences, including:
♟️ Lessons from Queens United Ambassadors – I
🎓 Empowerment Workshops – Develop leadership and life skills
🎉 Fun Activities – Enjoy team-building and social events
Participants can opt to continue in the High School or Middle School Chess Camp for the week of July 14 – 18.
How to Apply
Interested students must complete the online application form by March 21, 2025.
📩 Selected participants will be notified via email in mid-April.
