We are hosting a fun and interactive end of the year event celebrating CPS girls who play in chess. Please join us on June 2 from 9:00am-1:00 pm for games, trivia, prizes and of course, chess.
The event will take place virtually during the school day over Google Meet and the tournament through ChessKid. Schools will be notified that registered students will be participating in this event so that they may be excused from classes for the day.

- 10:20 – Round 2 of tournament
- 10:45 – Mindfulness break with Chess Yoga
- 11:05 – Round 3 of tournament
- 11:30 – Game analysis with Maggie and Meilin
- 11:50 – Round 4 of tournament
- 12:15 – Breakout Rooms – discuss tournament experience, upcoming chess opportunities, & survey
- 12:30 – Awards & closing ceremony
